Anyway, I'll be gone for a while I'm flying to Houston tomorrow and hopefully be spending a warmer Christmas.

Just a thought

Sometimes we want to pray but cannot gather words we want to say. Or, for some, they may not feel like praying. But here is one good suggestion that can be tried- count your blessings and name them one by one.

It is normal and a common fact how our daily lives are extremely focused on our everyday worries and concerns. Yet, no matter how embedded our problems and challenges are, it is amazing how we can also get carried away when we begin saying out loud what we are thankful for.

movie night at home

the bottled water you left in the car last night now makes a great ice pack
sleep in!
it's Christmas!

excuses......"I won't be at work today. My car's missing under 6 ft. of snow!"

Why I hate winter

It's too damn cold outside!
It's cold inside
It gets dark so earlyscraping windshields
waiting for freezing cold car to start
short walks if any at all

colds

dry fingers

cold fingers

cold toes

chapped lips

sore throat

can't wear shorts

can't bike

can't run

can't drive fast

can't go out without putting on tons of clothes

icy roads

no roadtrips

no warmth

no watermelon

and lastly....

nobody to hug =(

Almost

After spinning 360 degrees across three lanes of traffic yesterday, recovering only to have it slip again, then scudding up against a (thankfully) snow-laden guard rail, and a few additional non-damaging mishaps, I decided that the best course of action was to exit the interstate highway as soon as possible and find a safe place to calm down a bit.

I'm a self-confessed kaskasero but I was running only 30 mph at that time, pagkakamali ko bigla akong nagbreak at tuloy umikot ako buti na lang mabagal yung truck sa likod ko, kundi hospital ang bagsak ko nito. I could end up killing myself. Luckily, that didn’t happen, but it easily could have.

I really hate this weather.

Still, I'm very thankful that I'm safe.

God is good.
