Coldman in Flesh

Okay, it takes a lot of guts to post these photos, actually I've been thinking not to but I already made a promise so here it is!

After more than 3 months of discipline diet and exercise (no gym). I finally lose some weight! I've been killing myself through biking, running and eating cereals for the past 12 weeks and I think it's worthy and self-fulfilling to see the results.

(kapalmuks!)

Take a peek of coldman's killer smile! Malapit na ata akong magpakita?! Lol!
Panlasang Pilipino at home sa Jollibee!

On my next post: Coldman in Flesh! After 3 months of my project, witness the big transformation of Poging Alaskador!

Day 6: Universal Studios

Back to Universal Studios for the second time!
Started the day with the Studio Tour(again)War of the worlds locationDesperate Housewives setA cat in the hat location

There are too many photos on the tour but I'm lazy to upload all of them. Forgive me.

Anyway, I must admit I'm not an adrenaline junkie, but here I at least attempted to be brave. During my first visit I was adamantly against the Revenge of the Mummy Ride and Jurassic Park, but now with the hypnotic powers of my friends I was convinced to the so called "ride of your life!"

Inside, everything goes dark. Then we take off, and this ride moves out! Up, down, right, left, we are booking and I can't see a darned thing. We finally stop before a wall that we can't cross. I won't give away what happens next, but let's just say that those with insect paranoia might want to take an extra Prozac. Now it's time to go backwards. I've ridden a dark ride in the past and I've ridden a backwards rollercoaster before in Enchanted Kingdom, but this is definitely the first time both elements have been combined for me. We head over the course of the track in reverse and end where we began. In short, "parang hinuhugot ang kaluluwa mo sa loob!" Hahaha!

I survived the Mummy ride, so we decided to go to the Jurassic Park, the main highlight was the 84-foot vertical drop waterfall. Cool! because 100 % it will get you soaked. I kid you not!

Here's the evidence: Basang sisiw si Coldman, pati underwear ko nabasa! Lol!

Just an observation ...

I've been in some theme parks, I just observed that most of the Japanese tourist has a tour guide holding a flag! wala lang natutuwa lang ako sa kanila!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

I've watched 21 last night and I was impressed - card counting, black jack, and Vegas! Wow! I'd like to go to Vegas now! I will not do any reviews since I might be the only person who have'nt seen this movie. Lol!
Now, who wants to go with me in Vegas? (pero KKB ha?!) Joke!

Will I ever find the right "one"?

Why do you ask if there will be a sign? shouldn't we ask if there will really be "the right one?"

Honestly, in all my relationships I have not asked for any signs just to find love but I always think of the possibilities that this person might be the right one.

Shouldn't we all believe that there is only one person in the world for everybody?

I know it sounds cheesy, but I think that once you've found the right person, you know. But how easy is it to find that one special person? Well, that's my problem!

I started to wonder, has our society turned in the dream of a special, long-lasting relationship for just temporary, sex-driven flings? Or is there still hope that everyone will find that one person for him or her?

Has the thought of being with the one, building a relationship and family with them, gone by the wayside?

We've all experienced dating just to find a partner, sometimes we ended with the wrong one and sometimes we are lucky to find that special one. But that's what dating is, right, trial and error?

I see things a little differently now. I think that most of us develop casual, sexual relationships with people to get experience for the person that will be the one. They do it because they feel that finding the perfect person for them is a dream, kind of like becoming a millionaire. Everybody wants to be one, but only those who go after it will be rolling around in the money.

Maybe finding the right one is the same.

People feel it's attainable, but not so likely.I think that people should see finding that one person that fits you like a glove, whose weaknesses are your strengths, and whose strengths are your weaknesses, whose touch makes you jump even after fifty years, as a necessity.

It is a reachable goal to find and be with that right one. Maybe people should stop casually dating the wrong ones and try looking for the real thing.

There might not be so many broken hearts if they did.

Now my personal question is: Will I ever find the right one?

Day 4: San Diego and Seaworld

This was my first trip to SeaWorld and I have to say it was a lot of fun! The shows were entertaining and the exhibits were also interesting! A nice place to interact with marine animals unfortunately there were no mermaids like those in Pinoy teleseryes.

The ultimate crowd pleaser is the Shamu show, so was the dolphin exhibition. But after a while, I started resenting the fact that these magnificent amazing animals were being demeaned into doing cheap tricks to amuse the masses. The trainers were super hyper, dancing around, etc. For the record, I'm not an animal advocate, but I do care for them. Naks!

The polar bear was a little disappointing because you have to see him through a glass window in a cage so he is really difficult to get a glimpse of. It was really amazing though when they have him stand up, I had no idea how big they were until I saw him almost reach the ceiling of the building we were in.

By the way, this was also my first time to see orange ducks with long necks. Joke!

Let me give you some animal trivias!

1.Polar bears are left handed.

2.A pig's orgasm lasts for 30 minutes.

3.Elephants are the only animals that can't jump.

4.Some lions mate over 50 times a day. (Anybody wants to be a lion?)

5.A cat's urine glows under a blacklight.

6.A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.

7.Butterflies taste with their feet.

8.Most cows give more milk when they listen to music.

Day 3: Disneyland

This is my second time to go to Disneyland, forgive me but I'm a little kid at heart so I love this place and I will always love this place, no matter how old I get.

After all these years, Disneyland still does a great job of creating this whole new world of imagination and excitement. It makes you happy even if you are in the most depressed state ( okay, I did'nt feel this way when I went there!) Lol!

The fireworks, the parade, the shows (especially Fantasmic!) were simply awesome! Young or old, it never loses its magic!

It is really amazing how engulfed you feel in a world of happiness and kid stuff and whimsical fun. Rides I enjoyed: Indiana Jones, Star Tours, Space Mountain and of course Merry-go-Round (joke!)

It really is the happiest place on earth!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

We ate dinner at Rainforest Cafe which is in the Downtown Disney. It is covered from floor to ceiling in decorations designed to evoke the jungle. There is an artificial "storm" complete with thunder and lightning every 15 minutes or so. Cool! I had some amazing seafood paella, one that I tasted good so far!

Just a thought...

If Cinderella’s glass slipper fit so perfectly…
I wonder why it fell off along the way?
I can’t help but think that it was on purpose, to attract the prince’s affections.

tsk.. tsk..

Ito ang tinatawag na sinaunang kalandian. Lol!

Day 1: Las Palmas and Newport Beach

I'm back with a vengeance! Thanks for all your comments on my last post, I'm just so wasted at that time but I'm completely okay after my trip. Anyway, I love going to the beach! That's one of the few reasons why I flew to L.A. I'm tired of rocky mountains! Lol! So more beach hopping and L.A adventures coming up.

I just realized that I've been blogging for almost a year now, since its my blog's first birthday I decided to reveal 2 things soon for a treat to my readers!

1. Who I visited in L.A

2. Coldman in Flesh. After 3 months of my project, from 155 lbs to 138 lbs! Masyadong matindi na ang labanan sa merkado , kailangan ng magpakita ng konting laman! Lol!
